Study Model

I was searching for the list of ships, for the Excelsior class--canon. Out of curiosity, I click the link which led to the ship's model. While scrolling down, I stumbled upon the 'Study Model' section. Canonically, the three study models did appeared on screen. So I thought, why not model them?

In my own opinion, the study models looks as though they were carriers, however, is still able to replace the Constitution Class in the future as a workhorse of the fleet.

The saucer of the model is based on the saucer of an Excelsior Class (the diametre). So, if the Excelsior Class is 497 metres in length (total), this ship is approximately 406 metres long, since it's using the same saucer diametre.

I did the nacelles and pylon a month ago, however, due to my laptop being repaired, it was delayed. I managed to quickly assembled this ship in a day, along with basic textures. I modified the secondary hull, as it may turn out to be a carrier--strangely, most of the game modifications, listed the study models as carrier.

I intend to use this model in one of the Star Trek Ambassador scenes, stay tune!
