Cube Closing In

In an alternate universe. . .

~ Year 2370 ~

Lieutenant Jade Mickey watches the 'Warp Speed Meter' as it hovers around 'Warp 9.0004'. The speed is giving the Ambassador a smooth ride. An alert gives away, everyone checks their consoles, however, it was Logan whom shakes his head.

Logan : "They are closing, warp 9.3."

Xylis' heart is beating quickly. She leans forward, while clenching the armchair.

Xylis : "Mike, do what you can to get us there quickly."

Xylis' voice sounds that she is shaken by the appearance of the Borg, and the communication that the Borg demanded Xylis only, to receive her punishment. She doesn't know what kind of punishment the Borg will do to her, but it is certain that it will be unpleasant.

Mickey inputs several commands on his helm console, and the speed meter's decimals increases quickly from .0004 to .3431.
